Trump backs abortion in cases of rape amid row over new laws

Amid the row over strict new abortion laws passed in several states, US President Donald Trump on Saturday backed abortion in cases of rape and incest, however, he declared himself "strongly pro-life". Trump said abortion will be a major issue in his re-election campaign. Notably, the law passed in the US state of Alabama bans abortion in almost all cases.
