Mass firings at multiple US government agencies have begun as part of US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk's plan to cut government spending, Reuters reported on Thursday. Termination emails were sent in the past 48 hours to scores of government workers. Employees from Education Department, Small Business Administration, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and other agencies have been fired.
