Trump delays tariffs on Chinese goods ahead of Christmas season

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday delayed tariffs on some Chinese imports ahead of Christmas season to avoid potential impact on shoppers. Trump administration delayed the 10% tariffs on electronics and other consumer goods until December 15, which were to take effect on September 1 earlier. The tariff has been imposed on $300 billion worth of Chinese goods.
