Trump delivers longest State of the Union address in history

US President Donald Trump delivered the longest State of the Union address in history as he spoke for one hour and 47 minutes. According to The American Presidency Project, Trump's 2025 speech, not technically a State of the Union address, set the previous record for the longest presidential speech to Congress in modern US history.
