Trump dismisses fears of AI killing humans, says 'Beating China is priority'

US President Donald Trump dismissed fears that increasingly powerful AI could end humanity, saying that he was more worried about not beating China in AI race. "I've concerns that if we don't win AI...we're going to be put in a very bad position," said Trump. "We're leading China right now by a pretty good period...I'd say a year," Trump added.
