Trump escalates row with Harvard, says university should be taxed as political entity

US President Donald Trump said Harvard University should be taxed as a political entity if it "keeps pushing political, ideological, and terrorist inspired sickness". He wrote on Truth Social that the university should perhaps lose its tax-exempt status. His statement came after Trump's administration said it was freezing $2.3 billion in federal funding after the university rejected its demands.
