Trump expected to confront Xi over China's stance on Iran war during visit

US President Donald Trump, scheduled to visit China from May 13-15, is expected to confront President Xi Jinping on China's stance on the ongoing Iran war, according to reports. Trump could also "apply pressure" on China over its purchase of Iranian oil, as it refused to recognise US sanctions. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent had accused China of funding Iran.
