Trump govt freezes over ₹3,230 crore-worth crypto linked to Iran: Report

US President Donald Trump-led administration has frozen cryptocurrency worth $344 million (over ₹3,230 crore), which an official stated is linked to Iran, CNN reported. This comes as US Treasury Secretary Scott Besett said US "is sanctioning multiple wallets tied to Iran". Meanwhile, digital currency company Tether said "supported the US government in freezing" the assets across two addresses.
