Officials from US President Donald Trump-led government have considered sending Greenlanders payments to convince them to secede from Denmark, with the figures ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 each (nearly ₹9 lakh to ₹90 lakh), Reuters reported. The move shows one way in which Trump could possibly "buy" the island nation. Another tactic that is reportedly being considered is military action.
