Trump govt's letter to Harvard, listing its demands, was sent by mistake: NYT

The letter sent to Harvard University by US President Donald Trump's government, listing demands on hiring, admissions and curriculum, was "unauthorised", a New York Times report quoted a top official as saying. The official reportedly contacted the university saying the letter was sent by mistake. Harvard rejected the demands, prompting Trump to freeze $2.2 billion in grants to the University.
