Trump helps lift WC game ban on Balogun who plays for USA due to citizenship rule he tried to ban
FIFA has suspended USA striker Folarin Balogun's one-match World Cup ban after US President Donald Trump's intervention. Balogun, born in Brooklyn to Nigerian parents and raised in England, represents USA because of birthright citizenship. Trump had earlier tried to end automatic US citizenship for children born in America to non-citizen parents, a rule that made Balogun American under the law.
