Trump honours lifeguard who saved Indian-origin boy from drowning at US beach

US President Trump on Monday felicitated 16-year-old lifeguard Ryder Williams, who saved Indian-origin boy Nathaniel Rai from drowning at a California beach. Calling Williams a “real hero”, Trump jokingly told Nathaniel, “You are very lucky I was not on service that day.” After the rescue video went viral online, Trump had said he would invite Williams to the White House.
