Trump lashes out after US Senate votes to halt war, says 'Iran was on the ropes'

US President Donald Trump lashed out at the Senate for approving a resolution aimed at limiting military action against Iran. "I have Iran on the 'ropes,' ready to go down for the fall, willing to give us practically anything...Senate decides to have a poorly timed and meaningless War Powers Act Vote...[and] provided..comfort to the Enemy," Trump wrote.
