US President-elect Donald Trump will likely pardon over 1,500 individuals charged in connection with the US Capitol attack on January 6, 2021, NBC News reported. In an interview, Trump had pledged to prioritise relief for his supporters on his first day in office. Around 169 defendants have pleaded guilty to assaulting police officers.
