Trump nominates combat veteran Hung Cao as US Navy Secretary

US President Donald Trump has nominated acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao to lead the service permanently. Trump called him a "true warrior" and urged the Senate to confirm him quickly. Cao is a combat veteran with 25 years of experience as a special operations officer. He had also been a part of special forces deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.
