Trump nominates ex-US Marine Lance Schroyer as new director of ICE

US President Donald Trump said he will nominate Lance Schroyer as the next director of US ​Immigration ⁠and ​Customs ​Enforcement (ICE). He will succeed David Venturella. In a social media post, Trump said Schroyer is a former Oklahoma state trooper and US Marine, who has "decades of experience locking up...worst of the worst and getting illegal aliens OFF our streets".
