Trump ordered to sit for deposition in his $10 billion BBC lawsuit

A US federal judge has ordered President Donald Trump to sit for a deposition by December 11 in his $10 billion defamation lawsuit against BBC. Trump accused the broadcaster of misleadingly editing his January 6, 2021, speech to suggest he encouraged Capitol attack. BBC apologised to Trump and admitted the edits were misleading, though it denied being liable for defamation.
