Trump plans to put H-1B fee on visa extension applications: Report

Trump administration is reportedly planning to extend H-1B visa fees to applications seeking extensions of stay for existing employees. The fee applies to US companies with at least 50 employees, where over half the workforce holds H-1B or L-1 visas. Currently, employers pay an additional $4,000 for H-1B and $4,500 for L-1 petitions only for initial applications or job changes.
