Trump reduces duty on metal derivative products from 50% to 25%

US President Donald Trump revised tariff imposed on metals. Duties on many derivative products made from steel, aluminium and copper have been halved to 25%, while tariffs have been eliminated for items containing minimal metal content. The move kept 50% duty on commodity imports of steel, aluminium and copper unchanged. This revision is aimed at simplifying overly complicated tariff regime.
