US President Donald Trump delivered a speech at the same hotel where a gunman attempted to assassinate him two months ago. “I remember this room very well,” Trump said in a joking tone, adding that he hoped for “a little more pleasant experience” this time. A gunman had entered White House Gala event on April 25 trying to assassinate Trump.
