Trump's 'Golden Dome' missile shield could cost US $1.2 trillion: Report

A Congressional Budget Office report said President Donald Trump's proposed 'Golden Dome' missile defence system could cost US nearly $1.2 trillion (around ₹114.89 lakh crore) over the next two decades. The estimate is far higher than Trump's projected cost of around $175 billion. The project aims to create a multilayered shield against intercontinental ballistic missiles, and hypersonic weapons.
