Trump's federal buyout offer blocked as 60,000 accepted to quit

A US judge has temporarily blocked President Donald Trump's proposed buyout offer for federal workers until Monday. This came as over 60,000 employees, who constitute a little more than 2.5% of the 2.3 million federal workforce, had already accepted the buyout offer. The offer had promised to pay employees' regular salaries and benefits until October without requiring them to work.
