Trump's Pentagon pick Hegseth defends 'racist' tattoo at hearing

Pete Hegseth, US President-elect Donald Trump's pick to lead the Pentagon, defended his "racist and extremist" tattoo at his confirmation hearing before members of US Senate. Hegseth called his tattoo a 'Jerusalem cross', clarifying that it is "a historic Christian symbol". Hegseth also said that the same symbol had featured at the memorial service of late ex-President Jimmy Carter.
