Trump's pick for Iran leader once vowed to make him beg for mercy

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who is reportedly being considered by US President Trump as Iran's new leader, once called him a "filthy criminal" in a broadcast statement and vowed to make him "beg for mercy". Trump, however, referred to him without taking his name and called him a "very reasonable and most respected" person in Iran.
