US President Donald Trump has said Google CEO Sundar Pichai called him to apologise. Calling media reports "fake news", he further praised Google's communications team for "substantiating" his earlier comments. Trump earlier said Google was developing a nationwide coronavirus screening website, but media reported that Google's sister firm Verily was the one developing the project on limited scale.
