Trump seeks ₹6.3 lakh crore in extra funding over Iran war

US President Donald Trump has asked Congress to approve $87.6 billion in extra funding. The bulk of the request, around $67.15 billion (over ₹6.3 lakh crore) "addresses operational costs" incurred by US Department of War during the war with Iran. The request also includes $11 billion for American farmers and $1.4 billion to respond to Ebola outbreak in central Africa.
