Trump selects India Caucus head Mike Waltz as national security adviser: Reports

US President-elect Donald Trump has selected war veteran and Republican Mike Waltz as his national security adviser, reports said on Monday. Waltz has headed the House Armed Services subcommittee and was appointed as co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on India in February 2023. He'll be responsible for briefing Trump on key national security issues and coordinating with different agencies.
