Trump shooting suspect is neither Democratic nor Republican voter

Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspected shooter at the second assassination attack on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, identified neither as a Republican nor a Democrat voter. Routh identified as an Independent voter in a 2023 self-published book about the Ukraine conflict. The 58-year-old man had attempted to attack Trump at the latter's golf course in Florida.
