Trump signs executive order for access to AI models before launch

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order seeking early access for AI models for the government before they launch to the public. The executive order directs government departments and agencies to make agreements with AI firms and developers to test their models. The administration will get up to 30 days to test the models before they release.
