Trump signs executive order to reduce fertility treatment costs

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order directing the government to expand access to in vitro fertilization (IVF) and reduce the costs of the popular fertility treatment across the country. The order directs the administration to develop policy recommendations ensuring IVF access. Over 85,000 infants were born in the US through IVF in 2021, the White House said.
