Trump signs order seeking future ban on trans troops from military

US President Donald Trump has signed executive order directing Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to revise Pentagon's policy on transgender troops. The order claims that service by troops identifying by a gender other than their biological one "conflicts with a soldier's commitment to an honourable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle". The order will likely set in motion future ban on their service.
