Republican lawmaker and US Homeland Security Committee chief Andrew Garbarino revealed how Anthropic showcased during a closed-door demonstration what its most powerful AI model, Mythos, can do. He said Mythos emptied bank accounts in minutes and then also fixed the vulnerability that helped it do that. One unspecified model also showed detailed plan to kidnap a lawmaker in 30 seconds.
