Trump supporters claim Twitter removed thousands of followers

Several supporters of outgoing US President Donald Trump have claimed that Twitter has removed thousands of their followers in an attempt to "censor...American people." State Secretary Mike Pompeo shared a screengrab showing Republicans losing up to 40 thousand followers, whereas Democrats gaining them. Twitter said it regularly undertakes such exercise in order to remove spam accounts.
