Trump to host Xi Jinping at state dinner on Sept 24

US President Trump announced a formal state dinner for Chinese President Xi Jinping on September 24 in Washington. Trump praised US-China ties while downplaying tensions over Beijing's continued oil trade with Iran. He said he personally asked Xi to stay out of the Iran situation and believes China has largely complied.
