Trump urges 2028 astronaut moon landing in space policy order

US President Donald Trump has set a 2028 deadline for returning astronauts to the Moon and countering weapon threats in space through a sweeping executive order. It was issued after billionaire private astronaut Jared Isaacman was sworn in as NASA administrator. The order also calls for a space security strategy, contractor efficiency and missile-defence demonstrations.
