Trump watched midterm results with aides, not Melania: Reports

US President Donald Trump watched the 2026 midterm results, a decisive Democratic sweep of both House and Senate, from his private White House residence, accompanied only by Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and aide Natalie Harp, not First Lady Melania, reports said. His mood was reported as "very dark." Hegseth and Rubio are expected to be blamed for the defeat.
