Tsunami warning issued after 7.4 magnitude earthquake jolts Mexican coast

A 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Mexico's southern Chiapas state on Friday, with the US Tsunami Warning ​System warning that hazardous tsunami waves were possible along coasts. The earthquake struck near the Mexican town of Puerto Madero at a shallow depth of 10 km. Authorities said there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
