Tuhin Kanta Pandey appointed India's new Finance Secretary

IAS officer Tuhin Kanta Pandey was appointed as India's new Finance Secretary by the Union government on Saturday. He has succeeded TV Somanathan, who has been named the new Cabinet Secretary. Tuhin Kanta Pandey has previously served as the Secretary of the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM). He is a 1987-batch IAS officer from the Odisha cadre.
