Tukaram Mundhe gets first warning from minister over saoji row

Maharashtra Food Safety Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has been warned by the state government after remarks about Saoji mutton sparked criticism. Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said Saoji is the pride of Vidarbha and supports thousands of families. Mundhe later clarified that he was only describing his personal inability to eat the spicy and oily dish.
