Tulips bloom in Lahaul’s Udaipur amid favourable conditions

With technical guidance from the CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bio-resource Technology, Palampur, new avenues have opened for the commercial cultivation of tulips at Udaipur in the Lahaul region. Today, large-scale blooming of tulip flowers can be witnessed in the Lahaul region. The commercial farming of tulips will generate income for people living in high-altitude Lahaul and Spiti district.
