Tunisian judges to strike for a week after Prez sacks 57 judges
Tunisian judges will hold a week-long strike from Monday and a sit-in protest after the country's President Kais Saied dismissed 57 judges over charges of corruption and protecting terrorists last week. Earlier in February, Saied had also dissolved the Supreme Judicial Council. "The attack was not only against judges, but on the law and freedoms," a judges' association head said.
