Tunnels are to protect us, civilians not our responsibility: Hamas

The underground tunnels built in the Gaza Strip by Hamas are to protect their "fighters", while the responsibility to protect the civilians lies with Israel and the United Nations, Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzouk said. "We've built the tunnels to protect ourselves from getting targeted and killed. These are meant to protect us from the airplanes," he added.
