Turbulence leaves plane passengers with serious injuries

Several passengers were injured on an Aeroflot flight from Moscow to Bangkok when the plane faced "severe turbulence" before landing on Monday, the airline said in a statement. The crew was unable to warn passengers of the danger as the turbulence occurred in a clear sky. According to reports, at least 20 people suffered serious injuries, including suspected broken spines.
