Italian scientists suggest that Turin Shroud could be Jesus Christ's burial cloth, challenging earlier research that dated it to medieval times. Using X-rays, they examined linen threads, finding that the shroud's fibres aged slowly in Europe's cooler climate, adding that 90% of its natural ageing occurred before. The shroud bears a faint image believed to be an imprint of Jesus.
