Turkish man sets new Guinness World Record for longest axe throw

A 43-year-old Turkish man has set a new Guinness World Record by throwing an axe at a distance of 183 feet, 8.72 inches. Osman Gurcu broke the record for the longest axe throw, surpassing the length of an Olympic swimming pool, which measures 164 feet. His throw beat the previous record of 143 feet set by American Jesse Rood.
