Turkiye may help clear Hormuz mines if US-Iran sign peace deal

Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister Hakan Fidan said "Turkiye would have no problem" in helping clear mines from the Strait of Hormuz if US and Iran reached a peace deal. He added that Turkiye sees such operations as a humanitarian responsibility. Fidan further said that Turkiye would reconsider its involvement in the exercise in case of any renewed conflict.
