Turkmenistan Prez unveils 19-ft tall gold statue of his favourite dog breed

Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has unveiled a 19-feet tall gold statue of his favourite dog breed — the Alabai, in the country's capital Ashgabat. Berdimuhamedov has referred to the Alabai as an example of national heritage and also written a book about them. He had gifted an Alabai puppy to Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2017.
