TV channel illegally airs 'Jana Nayagan' in TN, operator arrested

S Palanisamy, a 44-year-old owner of a private local TV channel named Raasi Prime Movie, has been arrested for illegally broadcasting 21 minutes of Vijay's unreleased film 'Jana Nayagan'. This comes days after the film was leaked in its entirety, leading to the arrest of six individuals. The film has been stuck in limbo over CBFC certification since January 2026.
