TV prices likely to jump up to 10% in January: Report

Prices of LED and smart TVs could increase by 3% to 10% starting next year due to the global chip shortage and a sharp decline in the rupee against the dollar, ET reported. Analysts said the price hike could erode the demand created by recent GST cuts. The rupee hit a record low of 90.52 against the dollar on Friday.
