TVK defends CM Vijay after row over his tribute to LTTE founder Prabhakaran

After a row erupted over Tamil Nadu CM Vijay paying a tribute to LTTE founder V Prabhakaran, sources in his party, TVK, said he was referring to the massacre of Tamilians in Sri Lanka and not just Prabhakaran's death, NDTV reported. BJP had slammed Vijay for the tribute, and reminded TVK's ally Congress that LTTE was behind Rajiv Gandhi's assassination.
